This thesis aims to study a leader’s aesthetic practice of Rainbow junior high school by examining various documents, interviews and personal reflections. Through the qualitative research method, this study will evaluate the principal via the following matters which including to what extends and how to practice and utilize it to develop the specification and significant feature of the school. The findings provide suggestions to administrative staff and school faculty.
The following conclusions are drawn from the study:
1. The concepts of the principal’s leadership aesthetics would be cultivated by personal background, comprehensive training, personality, and the philosophy of education.
2. The fundamental thinking of the principal’s leadership aesthetics is contained by three elements: the insistence on the substantial of education, the importance of cooperation, and the critical thinking between sensitivity and rationality.
3. In the field of school culture, the principal’s leadership aesthetics is to create the win-win situation for students, faculty and teachers.
4. To enhance the principal’s leadership aesthetics, the outstanding principal needs to focus on both the architecture and landscape design of campus and the adoption of branding strategy to build a unique school.
