The opinions of implementation status, expectancy and satisfaction between parents and homebound education professionals were collected. The professionals included itinerant teachers and professional team members. Interview also used by the researcher to get the opinions of administrative staff who assist related business to understand the implementation status of homebound education in junior and elementary school of 7 counties in northern Taiwan(North of Miaoli County). There are 30 parent questionnaires, 30 professional team members’ questionnaires and 31 teacher questionnaires in recycling questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed by using percentage, average, independent-test, Pearson correlation, and one-way ANOVA. The results are summarized as follows: The main reason for most parents who never take part in activities is their time is not available. In service efficacy and content of professional team members, parents feel present situation differs from their expectancy. The parents’ highest satisfaction of the implementation is “the cooperative situation with the itinerant teachers”. More parents hope the work hours of professional team members could be increased. The highest satisfaction of the implementation of professional team members is “the situation of contact communication with parents”. The lowest satisfaction of the implementation of professional team members is “the contents of pre-employment training of homebound education counseling work which are offered by administrative unit”. The highest satisfaction of the service efficiency of professional team members is “the attitude of homebound education parents”. Most homebound itinerant teachers feel they need consultation on gross motor training issues. Over half of the respondents think administrative unit need to provide more pre-employment training. More respondents think it is necessary to promote the quality and quantity of job training.
