Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 人資處語文教學碩士班 === 99 === Abstract Nature writing has been regarded as a rising writing form in the fields of modern Taiwanese prose since it arose in the 1980s. At the same time, many well-known poets and prose writers joined the groups of nature writing such as Chen Lie, Chen Huang, Ling Fu, Hong Su Li, Liu Ke Xiang and so on. For the past few years, nature writing has been already considered an important part of the modern Taiwanese literature systems. In terms of female writers, after Hong Su Li made a beginning of the female nature writing, an up-and-coming talent Ling Fu set up a new model of appealing and esthetic style of the female nature writing by using simple and elegant words. She showed an in-depth personal reflection on life through her microscopic nature viewpoints. The emphasis of this paper was placed on the study of the artistic performance and the value of Ling Fu’s nature writing works. The full text was divided into six chapters. An outline of each chapter was described as follows: Chapter 1: Introduction. The research motivation and purpose, method, procedure and scope, literature review and chapter structure were outlined to explain the study content and direction. Chapter 2: The developing process of Taiwanese nature writing. The definition of nature writing, the forming background and developing process of Taiwanese nature writing were illustrated in detail. Chapter 3: The creating process and nature writing of Ling Fu. The motivation and attitude of Ling Fu’s creation were understood by knowing her biography and the creating process. Chapter 4: The subjects and the implications of Ling Fu’s nature writing works. The spiritual implications that the writer wants to express were discussed, including the hope for education, the inspiration of life style and the respect to nature. Chapter 5: The artistic characteristics of Ling Fu’s nature writing works. The image formation, the manner of expression, the writing skill of land aesthetics and various styles such as “reserved and implicative”, “classical and refined”, “simple language with interesting senses” were described. Chapter 6: Conclusion. A comprehensive conclusion was made from above five chapters. The value and the position of Ling Fu’s nature writing works in the fields of modern Taiwanese prose were discussed. Besides, suggestions for combining nature writing with the teaching carried out in the first and the second grades of the elementary school were proposed in the conclusion.
