The data was collected by questionnaire survey, and the samples of this study were from the students of first and second grades in elementary schools from remote areas in Hsinchu County in 2010. The measurement applied by stratified sampling in this study included personal basic information and life stress inventory from the first and second graders in elementary schools. The samples consisted of 320 questionnaires, recycling effective questionnaire 318 and proceeding SPSS17.0 by Descriptive Statistics, the independent sample examine, One-Way ANOVA and Regression Analysis. The main findings of this study are summarized as follows: 1.There are no significant differences between interpersonal relationships from the students of 1st and 2nd grades in elementary schools, which mean the grades and the gender and the number of siblings make no difference to the students. 2.The results show the connection with interpersonal relationships to grandparent- raised students of 1st and 2nd grades in elementary schools have better performances than the students in vertically extended families and single parent families. 3. There are no significant differences between academic achievements from the students of 1st and 2nd grades in elementary schools, which mean the grades make no difference to the students. 4. The results show the connection with academic achievements to students of 1st and 2nd grades in elementary schools has negative correlation by gender and the number of siblings and the different family types. 5.
