The purpose of this study aims to explore the behavior of students using e-reader, to investigate the reading speed, reading comprehension, and the satisfaction when using e-reader to read. This study adopts the method of semi-experiment. The subjects of this study are the college students and the graduate students. There are 30 subjects divided into two groups-e-reader and paper. Each group is asked to read some content first. Then, collect the reading period time and implement the comprehension test. They are also asked to complete the satisfaction questionnaire. The follows are the main conclusion of this study: 1. Gender is not the main factor of reading speed. 2. Reading by e-reader or by paper dose not cause the major differences on the reading comprehension. 3. Reading by paper is more ease. 4. Gender is not the main factor of reading comprehension.
