Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立宜蘭大學 === 化學工程與材料工程學系碩士班 === 99 === In this study we used chemical modification approach to prepare organic/inorganic hybrid materials. The procedure employed the precursor tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS) by sol-gel process under alkaline environment to form silica. Secondly we used the different coupling reagents of glycidoxy -propyltriethoxysilane (APTES) and 3-Glycidoxy-propyl-trimethoxysilane (GPTMS) to react with polystyrene-co-maleic acid (PSSA_MA) and then followed by grafting onto silica. Finally, we incorporated modified silica into chitosan to make chitosan-silica porous hybrid membranes with NaCl (porogen). The particle-size distubution of silica could be measured from laser analyzer. Also the size of about 200 nm could be confirmed through Transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The organo-functionalized silica was confirmed to be grafted onto silica from Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). In the TGA analysis the grafting ratio of PSSA_MA-APTES-Silica grafting ratio of 8.5 %, was more than PSSA_MA-GPTMS-Silica 5.4 %.
