Imposed on the current trend high-tech robot can attain to remote control and monitor of the work, that can replace the manpower for engage in dangerous work, and probe to unknown regions This paper presents a set of remote monitoring system implementation based on the network communication. In the controlled client, Lego NXT combined with vehicle operation, IP Cam, GPS, electronic compass and computer as a remote controlled platform. The remote computer on the platform is used as a relay point. The Bluetooth, LAN, Wi-Fi are used as the bridge between the intelligent NXT Robots and the server computer. The current location and orientation of the NXT is marked on the Google Maps and also showed on the sever computers. User can order a command on the sever computer to control the direction of the remote robot and view the currently local image at the same time.
