In this model, the three angles of the ship motions, including rolling, pitching and deviation were analyzed. In order to use the ship maneuvering simulator to reconstruct ship motion model, the study would collect the data primarily by means of the real examination of the various frigate motions on sea as well as make a new model and conduct a test using time order and artificial neural networks. In this investigation we compared the data collected via the real test of the ship motion on sea with that of the ship motion constructed by ship maneuvering simulator with the application of the artificial neural networks, and proves that the frigate motion model with the application of the artificial neural networks can predict all kinds of ship motions with great accuracy. The results showed that new model can provide authentic training for the new seafarers to understand and adapt to the ship motions, thereby improving their adaptability to seasickness.
