Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 工業科技教育學系 === 99 === This research aims to investigate the present situation of the Competition of Lantern Making in the Kaohsiung municipal primary schools. The goals of the research are listed as below: 1. To investigate the differences and similarities between the plans of the Competition of Lantern Making in the past years. 2. To investigate the abilities of the executive of the school, the parents and the students to practice the Competition of Lantern Making 3. To investigate the obstacles met by the members attending the competition. 4. To investigate the educational meanings of the competition. 5. To evaluate the beneficial results of practicing the competition. This research uses the Questionnaire Survey method. The object of the study includes the teachers of the 88 Kaohsiung municipal primary schools who actually attend the Competition of Lantern Making with 169 effective samples of 200 people. The research tools are self-designed guestionnaire which consists of ‘basic personal information survey ’ and ‘the scale of Supporting in the Practice of the Competition of Lantern Making.’ Subsequently, the material is analyzed through t-Test and one-way ANOVA . The results are as follows: 1. The plan of the Competition of Lantern Making combines the trend and diverse elements to promote the value of worth-seeing. 2. The teachers attending the competition expect suitable human source support from schools and parents, support, space and equipments, and financial support to cultivate the other teachers to inherit. 3. The teachers attending the competition expect to reinforce the practice of the competition by promoting the artistic and technological techniques of the students and strengthening the cooperation between small groups with suitable direction of teachers. 4. The teachers attending the competition expect to promote the willingness of teachers to attend the competition through abating the burden of making lanterns. 5. There are educational beneficial results in the Competition of Lantern Making. 6. There is space to take consideration in the practice of the Competition of Lantern Making.
