Develop in research in some recent, the scientists begin to introduce some metal oxides or metal materials with catalytic activity into SBA-15 in order to increase the catalytic activity of the material. The tungsten-containing mesoporous molecular sieve WO3/SBA-15 was prepared using conventional or microwave assisted impregnation method SBA-15 was prepared using tetraethyl orthosilicate as silicon source, and a mixture of P123 tri-block copolymer (EO20PO70EO20) as structure-directing agent. SBA-15 materials were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA)、x-ray diffraction (XRD)、fouries transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR)、nitrogen adsorption–desorption (BET) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The SBA-15 supported WO3 catalysts show uniform mesoporous structure, the surface area, total pore volume, and the pore size. That is a clear indication that the WO3 species are well dispersed in the framework of SBA-15 material with microwave assisted method can make distributing better.
