Summary:碩士 === 高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 99 === The purpose of the study is to realize the current status of junior high school principals’ instructional leadership and teachers’ professional learning community in Kaohsiung Area, and to investigate the relationship between the two variables. The study adopted the method of questionnaire survey , and used the researcher’s self-designed “ The Questionnaire of the Relationship between Junior High School Principals’ Instructional Leadership and Teachers’ Professional Learning Community” as the research tool . We sampled 600 permanent teachers in public junior high schools in Kaohsiung Area , and got 510 valid questionnaires . Descriptive statistic, t-test, one-way ANOVA , Pearson’s product-moment correlation, multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data collected from the surveys. According to the results of the analysis of the data, the study draws the following conclusions : 1. The current status of junior high school principals’ instructional leadership in Kaohsiung Area is middle-high level. 2. The teachers who are directors of departments, and the teachers in the schools over 49 classes have a higher sense of principals’ instructional leadership. 3. The current status of teachers’ professional learning community in Kaohsiung Area is middle-high level. 4. The female teachers have a higher sense of the dimension “interpersonal interaction” of teachers’ professional learning community than the male teachers do. 5. There are positive correlations between principals’ instructional leadership and teachers’ professional learning community. 6. Principals’ instructional leadership has a significant prediction for teachers’ professional learning community. Finally, based on the conclusions above, the study provides some suggestions for educational administration institutions, principals and teachers of junior high schools , as well as for future researches.
