Summary:碩士 === 高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 99 === This study aimed to understand the current status of filial role perception, filial conduct, and parent-child relationship of vocational high school students in Kaohsiung, and to explore the relationship among the three. Researcher collected and analyzed both literatures and related researches on filial role perception, filial conduct and parent-child relationship to form the research structure. Questionnaire method was used to conduct the empirical research on the vocational high school students in Kaohsiung in the academic year of 2010. 729 valid questionnaires were obtained and analyzed via Descriptive Statistics, t test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlations, and multiple regressions. The findings were concluded as follows: 1. Vocational high school students scored above average in filial role perception and filial conduct. 2. Vocational high school students perceived positive parent-child relationship. 3. Vocational high school students’ filial role perception and filial conduct had gender difference. 4. Vocational high school students’ parent-child relationship had differences in gender, birth order, and family structure. 5. Vocational high school students’ parent-child relationship had differences in filial role perception and filial conduct. 6. Vocational high school students’ filial role perception, filial conduct, and parent-child relationship showed positive correlation. 7. Vocational high school students’ filial role perception and filial conduct could predict parent-child relationship. Finally, based on these findings, suggestions were offered to parents, vocational high school students, filial role educators, and further research respectively.
