Questionnaire developed by the researcher is conducted and the study adopts stratified random sampling according to the school size. The results are drawn from 1045 valid questionnaires and analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, canonical correlation, and multiple stepwise regression . According to the literature review and questionnaire survey, the results are concluded as follows: 1. In terms of positive traits, the most positive dimension that primary school teachers show is “positive emotion”. 2. In terms of life values, the most positive dimension which primary school teachers show is “the relation between human and nature”. 3. Primary school teachers who are elder, married and believe in Buddhism show more positive traits and life values. 4. The conspicuous correlation was found among positive traits and life values of primary school teachers in Kaohsiung city. 5. The values for life among primary school teachers can be predicted by their positive traits. Positive personality and, optimistic and positive meaning for life are the two main predictive factors. According to above conclusions, some suggestions are listed as follows. 1. For educational administration organization: 1) enhance teachers’ positive traits and positive life values by arranging institute to provide courses of positive psychology, life education, and related courses which can enhance teachers’ professional skills. 2) reinforce teachers’ positive traits by arranging positive psychology into the courses for teachers training and continuing learning programs. 2.
