The main purpose of this study was to investigate the present situation of Emotional Labor, Perceived Organizational Support, and Job Satisfaction in elementary schools. It also aimed at analyzing the different situations taken on by the different background variables, and comprehending the correlation among of Emotional Labor, Perceived Organizational Support, and Job Satisfaction in elementary schools. Finally, this study hoped to figure out how much Job Satisfaction could be forecasted by Emotional Labor and Perceived Organizational Support and to offer some useful suggestions for the reference of educational authorities concerned. Questionnaire survey was adopted as the research method in this research and the faculty in Tainan Municipal elementary schools were picked as subjects of this survey. The researcher used "the questionnaire of Emotional Labor, Perceived Organizational Support, Job Satisfaction in elementary school" as research instruments. The researcher sent out 555 questionnaires to 46 schools. 526 of them were valid for this study, in a rate of up to 95.1%. The collected data were analyzed by means of average, standard deviation, t-test, One-Way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation analysis, Canonical Correlation and Stepwise Multiple Regression. Based on the results of the data analysis, the researcher offered the following conclusions. 1.The score of elementary school teachers’ awareness of the emotional labor is above the average. 2.The score of elementary school teachers’ awareness of perceived organizational support is above the average. 3.The score of elementary school teachers’ awareness of job satisfaction is above the average. 4. Elementary teachers who were director, at the age of 41-50, have a higher conception of emotional labor. 5. Elementary teachers who working as director and working in the schools between 11-20 years have a higher conception of perceived organizational support. 6. Elementary teachers who were directors have higher conception of job satisfaction. 7. The more positive emotional labor took, the better the perceived organizational support was . 8. The more positive emotional labor took , the better job satisfaction occurred. 9. The better perceived organizational support was , the higher the job satisfaction occurred. 10. Emotional labor and perceived organizational support have a significant Canonical Correlation Analysis on the job satisfaction. 11.Emotional labor and perceived organizational support have a significant prediction on the job satisfaction, of which the「interpersonal support」can best predict the Job Satisfaction. According to those conclusions, some useful suggestions are presented to the elementary school teachers, principals, education administration authorities and future study.
