Summary:碩士 === 高雄師範大學 === 教育研究所 === 99 === The main purpose of this study is to realize the relationship between work stress and satisfaction with family life of Elementary School married female teachers in Kaohsiung City and County. To achieve this purpose, the study uses questionnaires and the objects are married female teachers, who have children, of Public Elementary School in 99 school year in Kaohsiung City and County. There are 712 valid questionnaires from 1005 copies and the research uses as "Basic Information Questionnaire, "Teacher’s Work Stress Scale", and "Family Life Satisfaction Scale ". The collected data is analyzed with descriptive statistics, T- test, One-way ANOVA, Scheffe’s comparison method, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, and multiple-stepwise regression analysis. It helps to understand the status of the difference, correlation and prediction between work stress and family life satisfaction for married female teachers of Elementary School in Kaohsiung City and County . The research leads to the following conclusions: 1.The perception of work stress for married female teachers in Elementary School is under medium level. 2.The perception of family life satisfaction for married female teachers in Elementary School is above medium level. 3.The work load and stress for a married Elementary School teacher with partial administrative job is the highest. 4.The married female teachers who are in the school over 60 classes, have their work stress on the expectance of characters below the average. 5.The Elementary School female teachers who are married within 20 years have the best performance in the subject of the interpersonal relationship and the expectance of characters. 6.The Elementary School married female teachers who are over 51 years old and those who have worked over 21 years have the best satisfaction with their family life, and the sharing of housework. 7.The Elementary School married female teachers with university diploma have the lowest satisfaction with their family life, parent-child education, and leisure activity. 8.The Elementary School female teachers whose married year with 6-20 have lower satisfaction with their family life than others. 9.The satisfaction of family life and work stress of the Elementary School married female teachers has a lower negative correlation. 10.The background and work stress of the Elementary School married female teachers may act as a prediction reference for satisfaction with their family life. According to the results and conclusions of this study, the author presented some suggestions to the Elementary School Married Female Teachers, schools, education system, and the suture research.
