Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 數位學習教學碩士學位學程 === 99 === The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of SCRATCH on Learning Mo-tivation and Achievement of Cartesian Coordinates for elementary school students. The study adopted a quasi-experiment design, and the participants of the study are fifth grade students who were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group, containing 33 students, received a scratch course while the control group, containing 34 students, received a traditional course. All participants were evaluated by “Cartesian Coordinates Achievement Test” and “The Scale of Learning Motivation” before and after teaching. To compare the learning effectiveness between these two groups, the collected data were analyzed by “One-Way Analysis of Covariance” and “T-Test”. According to the research, the Cartesian Coordinates’ learning achievement of students who took a scratch course was better than those who took a traditional course. Also, there was significant difference on Learning Motivation between these two groups. This expe-riment explained that SCARTCH can increase achievement and learning motivation of students on learning Cartesian Coordinates.
