The Influences of Different Throwing Poses and Throwing Distances on High Grade Elementary School Students'' Petanque Skill Performance with the Constraint of Elbow Joint

碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 體育學系 === 99 === This study aims to investigate the influences of the constraint of elbow joint, different throwing poses, and different throwing distances on high grade elementary school students’ Petanque skill performance. With 40 fifth-grade students in some elementary school of Pingtung county as the subject(at the age of eleven and half, plus or minus half), the study divides testees into two groups, twenty with elbow joints constrained and the other twenty without. Different throwing distances(four meters, five meters, six meters, seven meters), as well as squat throwing and standing throwing are devised to compare the influences on throwing accuracy and pose quality. With the constraint of elbow joint, different throwing poses, and different throwing distances as independent variables, and the score of throwing accuracy and that of pose quality as dependent variables, this study adopts three-way ANOVA to deal with the data. If there is significance on interaction, then simple interaction test is further undertaken and simple simple main effect is performed regarding items with significance. This study sets a significance level of α = 0.05. The result of this study reveals that there is no significance among different throwing poses with regard to the throwing accuracy while with/without the constraint of elbow joint and different throwing distances do have influences on the throwing accuracy. And, there is no significance between with/without the constraint of elbow joint regarding the pose quality while different throwing poses and different throwing distances both have significant differences on the pose quality. The conclusion is that the constraint of elbow joint has significant influence on high grade elementary school students’ Petanque throwing accuracy and skill performance.
