Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 教育行政研究所 === 99 === This study aims to research the leadership styles of the principals and the present status of school efficiency of Ping Tung County primary schools as well as the relationship between the two factors by researching literature, surveying questionnaires and analyzing statistics. The concrete proposals are provided as reference for schools and educational administration institution to use. The main purpose of the study is as follows: (1) understanding the leadership styles of the principal and the present status of schools’ efficiency of Ping Tung County; (2) analyzing the Ping Tung County National Elementary school different background variable teacher, in principal leads in the style and the school potency consciousness difference; (3) discussing the relation of the leadership styles of the principals and the present status of school efficiency of Ping Tung County primary schools; (4) analyzing the forecast situation of the leadership styles of the principals to the present status of school efficiency of Ping Tung County primary schools. Questionnaires were collected and analyzed in the study. The informants were Purposive Sampling-selected primary school teachers form Ping Tung. The results were compiled from 513 valid questionnaires and the statistical focus included Average, Standard Deviation, t-test, 1-Way ANOVA Analysis , Pearson Product-Moment Correlation, and stepwise regression. The conclusion and proposal are listed in the study result: (1)The teachers of Ping Tung County primary schools perceive the leadership styles of the principals at mid or high level and initiation leadership style is sensed by the teachers. (2)The teachers of Ping Tung County primary schools perceive the school efficiency of the principals at mid or high level and administration performance is sensed by the teachers. (3)The older and administrative teachers have higher awareness on the aspect of the relation of the leadership styles of the principals. (4)The older and senior teachers have higher awareness on the aspect of the learning leadership styles of the principal. (5)The teachers in the aboriginal region aware leadership styles of the principal higher than others. (6)The teachers with older age have higher awareness on the aspect of the administration performance. (7)The teachers the aboriginal region have higher awareness on the aspect of the administration performance. (8)The principal’s leadership styles hold positive relevance to the school efficiency in which the better learning leadership styles of the principal, the better administration performance. (9)The principal’s leadership styles can predict the school efficiency. At the last, according to the results of the research above, the researcher provide the proposals which offer the reference to the educational administration institution, schools and the future researchers.
