Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 教育學系 === 99 === This research aimed to study the current situations of school principals’ strategic leadership and organization culture of schools and the relationship between them in the junior high schools in Pingtung County. This research was based on the questionnaire method to engage in the exploration. There were 433 teachers who were chosen out of 24 junior high schools for this survey, and 345 samples were valid. The data were analyzed via SPSS 15.0 for Windows software and presented as descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation method and multiple stepwise regression analysis. This research came to the conclusion as the followings: 1.The junior high school teachers in Pingtung County were well aware of the situations of their principals’ strategic leadership, especially in the aspect of “strategic intelligence”. Yet, the teachers agreed that their principals’ may put more efforts on “strategic thinking”. 2.The junior high school teachers in Pingtung County were well aware of the situations of organizational culture, especially in the aspect of “hierarchical culture” and “consensual culture”. Yet, the teachers agreed that the schools still need to be more “developmental”. 3.There were no statistically significant difference in the principals’ strategic leadership in terms of teachers’ gender, educational background, seniority, school location and school history. But there were statistically significant difference in terms of teachers’ position and school scales. The teachers, who holding the post of administrative duty and working in the 37 classes and above, got better scores. 4.There were no statistically significant difference in the organizational culture of schools in terms of teachers’ gender, educational background, seniority, and school history. But there were statistically significant difference in terms of teachers’ position, school location, and school scales. The teachers, who holding the post of administrative duty, working in the 37 classes and above school, got better scores. 5.It showed statistically significant positive correlation between principals’ strategic leadership and the organizational culture of schools. Those schools with better principals’ strategic leadership would have more strong organizational culture. 6.The secondary school principals’ strategic leadership had the predictability on the organizational culture of schools. Finally, according to the results of this research, the study proposed some suggestions for the operation of school administration and future researches
