It intends to improve the traditional VAC system’s operation process and to add new features. Except the MCU which comes from Microchip, the developed prototype machine also includes an LCD panel, a vacuum motor, and a pressure sensor. The software was developed under the MPLAB integrated development environment which was developed by Microchip. The Altium Designer, an electronic circuit design software, was used to draw the circuit module and the PCB layout. The developed prototype was tested using computers running Matlab/Simulink software with XPC signal acquisition module employed. The functions of pressure maintenance within a preset range, the information displayed on the LCD panel, and the communications between the developed machine and the computer via bluetooth were also validated.
