碩士 === 國立臺北護理健康大學 === 生死教育與輔導研究所 === 99 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among afterlife beliefs , death attitude and suicide tendency on the middle-age people . In order to achieve the purpose mentioned aboved , a questionnaire survey method was conducted , 135 middle-age people completed three questionnaires . The analysis of the data revealed the following main conclusions : 1. The afterlife beliefs of the middle-age people differed from different gender . 2. The afterlife beliefs of the middle-age people differed from different religious . 3. The death attitude of the middle-age people differed from different gender . 4. The death attitude of the middle-age people differed from different religious . 5. The suicide tendency of the middle-age people differed from different education or job . 6. A significant correlation was found between the middle-age people，s afterlife beliefs and death attitude . 7. A significant correlation was found between the middle-age people，s death attitude and suicide tendency .
