We expect students to develop creativity, promote environment protection knowledge, justify correct values, and live the green life.
The research takes the environment protection as the center, integrating the visual arts teaching activities into itself. This research will discuss the following issues:1. How to integrate the environment protection conception with the visual arts curriculum, and to design the teaching activities? 2. What might be the potential problems and what will be the corresponding solutions, while implementing the teaching activies.3. In the process of designing and implementing the teaching activities , what speciality growth might be for the three researchers , in the curriculum project ,the teaching strategy and the teacher’s multi-roles transformation.
The main results of the research as below:1. Environment protection concept can be suitably into the course of visual arts. 2. The efficacy of environment protection concept into the course of visual arts instruction is influenced by the format of instructional implementation, method of grouping, internal harmoniousness of groups, sequence of instruction, and the learning attitude and achievement of students.3. The researcher derived professional growth and achievement from course, employment of educational strategy, and conversion of diverse teacher roles.
According to the research results, the researcher proposes suggestions on environment protection concept into the course, instructional implementation, and future developments, to serve as a reference for teachers and other researchers interested in environment protection conception.
