Summary:碩士 === 國立清華大學 === 經營管理碩士在職專班 === 99 === This thesis investigates the problems when the line supervisors administer on-site management issues in industries of semiconductor in Taiwan, as well as the ways for on-site management and the value of a supervisor. The model for on-site management provided by this thesis can give the line supervisors a concept for solving the on-site management problems. It is expected that the conclusions in this thesis can provide the references to enhance the ability of on-site management for line supervisors and to find out the values of the existence of a supervisor. In human resources management, competency models are gradually used in recruiting, training and developing the successors, and improving the performance. It becomes an indispensable tool in the development of human resources. From literature reviews and individual interviews, this thesis concludes the values and ways a line supervisor should have for on-site management in literatures and combines the theory in literatures with the methods and common issues on on-site management of the line supervisors to construct the on-site management model and the content of the interviews. Finally, from the individual interviews of the middle-level managers and line supervisors in the productive department of a company, this thesis compares and discusses the results of the interviews to obtain the conclusions and suggestions for valuing the existence of a line supervisor.
