Any form of curatorial is the interpretation of Representation; therefore, contemporary curatorial will have a specific association with the history, culture, power composition and the trend of thought. The correlation need to be understanding and recognition. This research applies literature analysis to confer curatorial theory, and make use of action research, such as depth interview and participant observation, to do the case studies in order to understand the interaction between curators and museums, such as National Palace Museum and National Museum of History, and make a self-examination of the decision-making, representation, interpretation and other issues of the museum's own exhibition. The research shows: "Curatorial is a practice." Based on the premise of respecting cultural diversity, museums and curators need to use good methods such as option, presentation, interpretation, marketing, continuing education and etc. to show the values of multiculturalism, and integrate interdisciplinary scholarships to promote the culture and knowledge level of Taiwan audience.
