Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 美術學系在職進修碩士班 === 99 === The topic of this group of painting is called "Taking off and Landing – Taipei City Streams". The painter,who has been living in Taipei more than ten years, shared his life experiences in exploring the metropolis, the indifferences isolation among people, and the loneliness from his heart through his works of art. During the progress of his creation, He also discovered his inner self and the look for the future. The expressions of these paintings were based upon the outline of Google Sitemap, in which the painter expressed the city through an objective, safe and calm observation, giving it a brand new space and lives with my emotional and colorful touches. Subtopics covered in this research includes, “Discussing the relationships between man and the city through the changes of the cities,”“Different aspects of the cities found in the history of art,” and “The practice of self-creation”. The framework of this research is divided into four chapters, summarized as follows: Introduction: Creative motivation and purpose, contents, scope and terminology of these art pieces. Chapter I: Discussing the changes in unban structure from the context of urban development. How man was affected by these changes, creating a sense of apathy and alienation among themselves. Chapter II: Clarifying the status of “City Paintings” by browsing through the history of art and urban development to establish the direction of self-creation. Chapter III: Analyzing the works of Caillebotte, Yuan Guangming, and Richard Este t explore the theme of the city materials, and the creation of the inner city. Chapter IV: Analysis of individual creative works and the presentation of practical results. Conclusion: Having the creative experiences and results as a confirmation to clarify the purpose and direction of our creations and to expect ourselves with rich vocabulary of art to fulfill the meanings of our lives.
