碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 體育學系在職進修碩士班 === 99 === Resulting from a life-and-death school event, the researcher was motivated to do this research, in the way of action research, to incorporate character education into basketball team training. The purpose is to investigate the effectiveness of applying the core value of Nanmen junior high school to basketball training by action research, to evaluate the team members’ learning condition, and to find the solution to all problems occurred during the process. The object of this study is the men’s basketball team of Nanmen junior high school in Taipei, and the research period is from September to December in 2010. Data in this study is collected from sheets of students’ learning, teaching diary of researcher, parents’ respondence, and so on, in order to evaluate the effectiveness of player’s learning. The findings of this study are shown below: 1. Incorporating character education into basketball team training is actually practicable. 2. applying the core value of our school to evaluate junior high school basketball team training is actually effective. 3. Incorporation of character education enriches the sports team training. 4. The researcher’s professionalism is actually improved during the action research process. Finally, according to the findings of this study, concrete suggestions are provided by the researcher to incorporate character education into basketball team training and prospective research.
