Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 電機工程學系 === 99 === With liberalized propensity on the speedy development of world’s telecommunication services, and its high-tech innovations, combining on data, voice, video, and multi-high-tech usage to enhance a all-in-one service seems be exempt from the traditional low bandwidth, low penetration, and high-cost-infrastructure constraints; and all these factors do stimulate the rampant development and competition, and further benefit its subscribers’ access to a more economic and dynamic services in a future run. With no doubt Taiwan’s telecommunications services already catch up this trend, and target on a more dynamic service provision. Obviously, wireless telecommunication high-tech is changing the way people communicate with each other, be more conglomerating into people’s daily life, and working models, for example, a standard protocol of 802.16 announced in 2004 has been fixed into WiMAX transmission protocol that already replaced today’s ADSL+WiFi access model, and with LTE technology deployment (Long Term Evolution technology), it is one of major new generation wireless broadband technology deployments in the world, as well known as 4G system that being discussed nowadays. We will focus more on the discussions of these two modern technologies and their application implementation, soas to understand broadband technology+wireless telecommunication services, and its application implementation Key words: WIMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access), WiFi (Wireless Fidelity), FTTH (Fiber To The Home), FTTC (Fiber To The Curb), FTTB (Fiber To The Building), LTE (Long Term Evolution
