Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 自然科學教育學系碩士班 === 99 === Members of Piptocephalis (Piptocephalidaceae, Zoopagales, Zoopagomycotina) are obligate mycoparasites, mostly grow on mucoralean fungi. They are commonly found on dung, leaf litter or in soil. In the study of Piptocephalis in Taiwan, fungal strains were isolated from soil and dung of herbivores along with rodents . Among the fungal isolates, 7 species (Piptocephalis fimbriata, P. indica, P. tieghemiana, P. xenophila, P. sp.nov. 1 and P. sp.nov. 2, P. sp. nov. 4) were from soil and 4 species (Piptocephalis freseniana, P. lepidula, P. tieghemiana P. sp. nov. 4) from dung, totally 9 species found. Piptocephalis cultures were also obtained from BCRC and CABI which were used as references. In addition to morphological observation, phylogenetic analysis was also carried out. MP tree and NJ tree were constructed based on LSU-D1/D2 and ITS rDNA sequence analyses. Combining morphological and molecular data, a key of Piptocephalis in Taiwan were created. Besides, the genus Kuzuhaea (Piptocephalidaceae) was found to be a member of the genus Piptocephalis based on the result of rDNA sequences analysis.
