There are total of 430 subjects form Taipei city . Questionnaire survey was conducted to collect data, three way ANOVA and WPIRS was used to analyze quantitative data, interviews were used to get more qualitative data about the strategies of problem solving and error types. The main findings are shown as follows: 1.The performance of spatial ability for Ball players is significantly better than that of general students 2. There is no significant difference in spatial ability for gender. 3.There is significant difference in spatial ability for several mathematical learning achievements. 4.The structure of spatial ability for Ball players is more hierachical than that general students. 5.The problem solving strategies consist of the rule of experience, mental image operation and physical manipulation etc. 6. Error types are composed unclear concept, life experience and learn experience limitations misunderstanding etc. Finally, some suggestions are proposed to be as references of teaching, activity curriculum edit, physical activity and future study.
