Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育經營與管理學系 === 99 === The Research of Sports Participation and Interpersonal Relationship for the Fifth-and-Sixth-Grade Aboriginal Students in New Taipei City Abstract Purpose of this research is to understand the current status of sports participation and interpersonal relationship for the fifth-and-sixth-grade aboriginal students in New Taipei City. In addition, comparisons between different background variables were made as well. Lastly, the relevancy and predictability between sports participation and interpersonal relationship for the f fifth-and-sixth-grade aboriginal students were analyzed as result. To achieve these goals, 521 designed questionnaires were sent to the fifth and sixth grade students in 71 elementary schools in New Taipei City by stratified random sampling. With 94.24% effective return ratio, 491 questionnaires were valid from 501 returned ones. Data were analyzed by using Mean, Standard deviation, Chi-square test, Independent sample t-test, One-Way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation and Stepwise multiple regressions. The major findings were summarized as follow: 1.“333 Physical Fitness” was implemented throughout the fifth-and-sixth-grade aboriginal students in New Taipei City. 2.Boys’ sport preferences were playing the dodgeball and the basketball, whereas girls’ was jumping the rope. 3.Most of the fifth-and-sixth-grade aboriginal students had tendency toward alienated interpersonal relationship. 4.The fifth graders were more active than the sixth ones in sports participation. 5.The fifth-and-sixth-grade aboriginal students who joined school teams were more active in sports participation than those who did not. 6.Different BMI (Body Mass Index) among aboriginal students were found to affect the sports participation. 7.Different family social and economical backgrounds of aboriginal students were found to affect the sports participation. 8.Boys were more passive than girls in making friends. 9.The fifth graders were better than the sixth ones in interpersonal relationship. 10.Participating in school teams made aboriginal students more alienated from interpersonal relationship. 11.The higher BMI students got, the better interpersonal relationship they had. 12.More time spent in sports exercise and more types of sports participation would facilitate the development for interpersonal relationship. Finally, based on these findings, this research also proposed recommendations for schools, educators and researchers for further study.
