Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 生命教育與健康促進研究所 === 99 === The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship among social-support, self-efficacy, and self-regulated of in diet and exercise behavior in community residents. The studied population was the community residents from a stratified random sample in Taichung City. Research instrument was a self-developed structured questionnaire including perceived social-support scale, self-efficacy scale, self-regulated scale and stage of change in diet and exercise behavior scale. A total of 635 questionnaires were distributed from 1 July to 31 August 2010 and 490 were returned (77.2% response rate). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, chi-square test and Pearson product-moment correlation. The study found that (1) The community residents in social-support part as the highest item of family social-support in exercise. (2) The community residents in self-efficacy, self-regulated and stage of change part, diet behavior had better exercise behavior. (3) There were significant differences in gender of community residents in stage of change in diet behavior. (4) There were significant differences in age of community residents in social- support, self-efficacy, self-regulated and stage of change behavior. (5) There were significant differences of female’s waist circumference in diet and exercise behavior. (6) There were significant positive correlation between of community residents in social-support, self-efficacy ,self-regulated and diet, exercise behavior. Based on the above findings, some suggestions are made for future research.
