碩士 === 國立臺北大學 === 經濟學系 === 99 === 　　Due to the double pressures of the energy shortage and globe warning, the Taiwanese government sets up a five-years program for promoting the duel fuel vehicles with liquefied petroleum gas from 2008. There are three goals to be fulfilled of the program within five-years: one hundred and fifty thousand vehicles using duel fuels, energy saving for fifty-four billions NT dollars, and reduction of green-house gases emissions (such as 14,000 tones of CO, 139.5 tones of HC, and 1.23 million tones of CO2). However, only ten thousand vehicles (most of them are taxi) are refitted for using liquefied petroleum gas and fuel in the end of 2010. This study employs the regression analysis to evaluate the impacts of monthly revenue for taxi, price-difference of fuel and liquefied petroleum gas, and subsidy on the demand of refitting the duel fuel system for taxis. The cost-benefits analysis for the promoting program is also measured in this study. 　　This study concludes that the positive net benefits can be obtained for the promoting program. But, all of three goals are over estimated and too optimistic to be fulfilled. Thus, the promoting program for refitting the duel fuel system’s vehicles has to modify the goals conservatively.
