Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 健康促進與休閒管理碩士在職專班 === 99 === This correlational study examined the relationship among leisure activity participation, leisure constraints, and job stress of air traffic controllers. The questionnaire investigation method SEM was adopted and a total of 298 questionnaires were used to elicit information from the population of ANWS air traffic controllers, with 268valid samples responded. The collected data was analyzed by SPSS 15.0. Major findings from this study for the air traffic controllers summarized below: 1.Their type of leisure activity participation is positive, They often participate in both entertainment and social types as leisure activities; however, with low frequency of leisure activity participation. 2. They have high leisure constrains and the most are personal and interpersonal factors. 3. They are in meet of high job stress and, also, high level of the factor ‘‘organization press.’’and ‘‘workload.’’ 4. There is negative correlation among social, hobby and knowledgeable types from the leisure activity. It reveals that when leisure constraints increases, then the social, hobby and knowledgeable type of leisure activity participation will decrease while increasing the sports and entertainment type. 5. The job stress dimensions are the effective variables for predicting their leisure constrains dimension with positively obvious correlation. It reveals that when job stress increases, then the leisure constraints will increase while decreasing the leisure participation activities. This study suggest that ANWS administration should provide an appropriate leisure activity environment and diverse leisure information for them, and help them overcome their major leisure constraints. Moreover, for diminishing the effect of their job stress, they should improve their own concept of leisure, perceive the importance of leisure, schedule well, use leisure resources effectively, and preserve their health.
