Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 會計學研究所 === 99 === This study analyses the relationship between the higher educational background of the board of directors and branding success, using a multi-industry dataset of 180 firms listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE). The regression results indicate that the board’s top, foreign and top-MBA educational credentials and firm branding success is positively related. Thus, this study concludes that the higher education background of the board builds up competitive advantages to a firm’s branding strategy.
