碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 廣播電視學系碩士班 === 99 === The research hopes to discuss the relatively news topics and frameworks of media environmental awareness on the events of “August 8, 2009 Flood of Morakot Typhoon” in Taiwan. The conclusion would offer some beneficial and practical advices for mass media, government and the public of Taiwan. In order to make sure whether media play the crucial and professional roles under the disaster news of climate change, there are four issues as follows: 1.How mass media describe the disaster news of climate change? 2.Does the function of mass media works well under the disaster news? 3.Is there any environmental awareness throughout the disaster news? 4.The main topics of disaster news. The statistics of the conclusion will reveal that politics is relate to the reports of disaster news and show the evidence that politics and media are control each other indirectly. Under this circumstance, our mass media are careless about environmental awareness and lack of foresight while reporting disaster news. There are four main factors as follows: 1.Too many descriptions about disaster scene. 2.The news resources are mainly adopting official information. 3.The conclusion would blame the government. 4.The topics of disaster news sometimes full of exaggeration. According to the conclusion above, hope we can find out a way to enhance the reports of disaster news and climate change for mass media in the future by this research.
