Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 99 === The single-stage driver circuit is commonly used for low-power LED lighting applications. However, the use of electrolytic capacitors in the single-stage LED driver will seriously shorten the lifetime. This thesis aims to design and implement an electrolytic capacitor-less LED driver with active power factor correction (PFC). A two-stage LED driver which consists of a buck PFC converter and an isolated inverse-SEPIC converter is studied. The operating principles and design considerations of the two-stage circuits are analyzed and discussed. A 48W laboratory prototype is built and tested to verify the feasibility and theoretical analysis of the proposed scheme.
