The thesis focused on the traffic safety and high lighting quality of the tunnel lighting. Four tunnel lighting schemes, in different luminous distribution properties and mounting spaces, were proposed to simulate and plan the better and energy saving tunnel lighting through a commercial lighting design software, DIALux. The relative lighting parameters are evaluated via an effective performance evaluation methodology for searching the most reasonable and economical consideration. Furthermore, the benefits of dimming control for LED lamps had been studied both from initial investment and energy savings concern. Finally, the proposed tunnel lighting scheme is compared quantitatively with Hsuehshan Tunnel, Taiwan to verify and confirm suitability and practical reasons of applying LED light source to tunnel lighting. The results show the valuable and feasibility of using LED in tunnel lighting. Horng-ching Hsiao 蕭弘清 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 91 zh-TW
