碩士 === 國立高雄大學 === 高階經營管理碩士在職專班(EMBA) === 99 === With the advent of information society, the information technology (IT) has been one of the most important technologies that affect human life. Both profit and non-profit organizations have been trying to obtain competitive advantages by adopting IT. In this regard, management computerization is one of the solutions that can help enhance an organization’s competitiveness. The thesis conducts an case study that analyzes the feasibility of management computerization for a non-profit organization (C case organization). The benefit of management computerization is also addressed. Based on the questionnaire and interview survey, the research findings indicate that (1) in the facet of finance, most subjects positively support the policy of management computerization, (2) in the facet of technology, most subjects suggest that management computerization can entirely stimulate employees to learn new technology and to change operation processes for better efficiency by using the strategy of step-by-step to avoid resistance, (3) in the facet of organization, most subjects convince the policy of management computerization to change the organizational behavior for organization learning, and (4) in the facet of information needs, subjects indicate the case organization should provide more information to catch up with the non-profit industries. Implications are also addressed.
