Since there are many patterns of LED and chips, this aim of this research is to find the design pattern which matches best. The size of monitor used with computer in current market is about 18.5-24 inches. Monitors sized above 26 inches are mainly used as television. This research is focused on the light source of computers and can be divided into two sections. The first section studies the applied theory of optics to estimate any optical phenomenon during luminescence of LED according to light efficiency and material properties while the second section measures the thermal resistance on the base board of LED light bar to verify the dependence of certain LED material based on the knowledge of thermal resistance. Finally, the light efficiency of LED and verified data of base board will be compared with the specification of LCM module in experiment in order to confirm that the LED compartments and base board design in edge type backlight module is the best design pattern. 陳文瑞 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 89 zh-TW
