Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立虎尾科技大學 === 光電與材料科技研究所 === 99 === A procedure is for eliminating the yellow halo for light emitting diodes (LEDs). The first one is to design three patterns with the same diameter but different arrangement, then make the ITO film surface patterned by using laser scriber. First of all, the EPD technology under the pressure of the external voltage, a uniform phosphor layer will be generated on the cathode substrate, after that, isolate the phosphor plate and ITO glass and package on the high power LED in order to eliminate the yellow halo phenomenon. The second approach is a unique selfpackage of white LEDs. The most important different process here is to cure the resins as lamps by the LED itself. That is different from the conventionally thermal curing process running in an oven. The unique technology can be used to manufacture the white LEDs without molding. In other words, very low production cost and higher competition ability were achieved in this way.
