Description
Summary:碩士 === 亞東技術學院 === 資訊與通訊工程研究所 === 100 === IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n is the wireless network protocol. The operating frequency for IEEE 802.11b/g is from 2412MHz to 2484MHz, and the operating frequency for IEEE 802.11a is from 5150MHz to 5825MHz. In this thesis, designed the double layer board patch antenna for IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n. The double layer board which can compact antenna size and designed array antenna to increase the antenna gain. Patch antenna is easier to design array structure. For patch antenna, the impedance matching is important, if the antenna and transmission line are mismatch, the antenna have larger loss and reduce the signal. Patch antenna has the disadvantage of narrow bandwidth, and the if increase the array element, the interference will be larger. In addition, in order to use for MIMO system application, therefore designed the dual polarization antenna array. In this thesis, the antenna arrays of design and analysis by GEMS EM simulation system. From the measurement result, the gain of IEEE 802.11b/g/n is about 9 to 10dBi, the efficiency is about 80%; the gain of IEEE 802.11a/n is about 7 to 9dBi, the efficiency is about 50% to 80%.
