碩士 === 實踐大學 === 時尚與媒體設計研究所 === 100 === ．This dissertation is about the correlation between an individual and the social system, fully embodied in a discussion concerning one's self and his/her outfit. ．Wearing an outfit not only shapes the one's appearance and identity but also lets the social system play a part in. ．During this process, the subject and the object are originally separated, then interchanging their positions, and finally become one. ．Inspired by the concept of reflection/ blending/ infinite possibility, I set up the hypothesis of this equation: Self = Body = Outfit. ．There might be a possibility between a simultaneous perception and an interactive outfit. ．The selection of outfits is random. ．I record the whole process and results in writing and photography. ．Here come those outfits as media, as well as the outfit in media. ．I (the wearer) am what I have received and the only information to others. ．The interaction between outfits and taken images stimulates the following: stereotypes, self-performance, a further change in identities and the corresponding social fields, and even the modification and displacement of time and places.
