The strength for after service system decides the business competition. By opening WTO market, Taiwan can not only rely on low labor cost of Southeast Asia to increase business profit but also needs to consider revolutionary change with system, process and management.
From successful business case, use theory of constraints to overcome difficult and execute six sigma to manage are the best way for business accelerating to change internal system. No matter invisible or visible problem, both of them can be solved fast and methodically. Through 3 cores of theory of constraints: What to change? Change for what? How to change? The complex problem can be clear by brainstorming; besides, by following Six sigma steps: definition, measurement, analysis, improvement, control can fix the mistake of process to achieve preventing effect and the missing cost will be decreased.
The research object is after service center for Taiwan motherboard manufacturer. When customers send the product to after service center repair, they care about repairing quality mostly. It is the most important part with customer and corporation for improving repairing skill, performance of repairing efficiency and customer satisfaction. The research uses theory of constraints and six sigma to find the key of quality character. From the analysis, the result shows there is an outstanding difference when engineer use the theory to repair. It is not only reducing the failure rate but also reaching repairing skill promotion.
