Description
Summary:碩士 === 聖約翰科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系碩士在職專班 === 99 === This study engages in the effective resources allocation among various work stations of the traditional manufacturing industry. The concept of Theory of Constraints (TOC) is used for the dynamic line balancing. Under physical limitations, a continuous improvement of workstations balance is proposed for increasing capacity utilization. A computer application software of production scheduling is also developed for quick response to demand changes. Then, a scheduling case of a well-known manufacturer of gas ignition electronic controller in Taiwan is studied. With the use of the developed computer software, the practitioner can seek a better allocation of resources and production workstation line balancing quickly. Via experimental results, it shows that the proposed scheduling approach with the consideration of TOC, can improve the productivity and quick response significantly.
