碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 金融與風險管理系碩士班 === 99 === Nowadays, with the increase of the global competition and highly sensitive market, outsourcing of logistics activities are widely as a useful approach to gaining competitive advantage and enterprises have been faced with the inevitability of selecting an appropriate third-party logistics (3PL) provider that best fits their requirements. This research focused on the textile and garment industry limited in the South Vietnam. The purpose of this paper is to put forward several selection criteria for Vietnam textile and garment enterprise to decision makers in selecting the most appropriate 3PL provider. This paper provides a structured decision making model for selection of the appropriate third party logistics (3PL) providers for the Textile and Garment Industry using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). A structured questionnaire based on pair wise comparisons was designed. The questionnaires were used Analytic Hierarchy Process to analyze the priority weight and through application software expert choice (www.expertchoice.com) for handling AHP calculation. Based on the results of this paper, it is useful with general managers who want to solve the problem regarding to make complex decisions such as selecting an appropriate third party logistics (3PL) provider.
