That is, it is very important to know how to build the working-friendly environment for employees to contribute their professions in order to face the tough era and to make the enterprise more competitive. Previous studies showed there is an existed association between the function of human resources management personnel and job performance. That is, professional function has the positive affection to personal achievements and department achievements. While the environmental impact and organizational development, the human resources management is more and more important to the enterprise. Therefore, the job performance of human resources personnel has the indeed influence on organization efficiency. This study aims to discuss what professional functions will significantly affect job performance after the subprime mortgage crisis. This study shows not only professional function is significant related with job performance after the subprime mortgage crisis, but also severe impetus in a short time can make obvious difference of professional function. The shock of subprime mortgage crisis made human resources personnel realizes that it is important to improve professional function themselves. It also reflects their job performance in order to maintain their competitive advantage in the job marketing. Currently, professional function is still significantly associated with job performance in personal level, human resources department level and organization level. “Self-progress” is a significant predictor of “personal job performance” as well as “communication and coordination” to “departmental job performance”. Only “advantage human resources management”, “strategical human resources management” and “diagnosis and counseling” are significantly associated with “personal job performance” among the difference of professional function after the challenge of the subprime mortgage crisis. In the case of difference of professional function to the job performance of personal level, department level, and organization level, there is no significant affection observed. Thus the changing of personal professional function cannot involving promote the job performance at personal level, department level and organization level yet.
