Summary:碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 教育領導與評鑑研究所 === 99 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the views of the elementary school teachers in Tainan city on the Professional Standards for Elementary School Educators and to verify the Acceptance Model and Ease of Implementation Model. Several statistical analytic methods, including Ms, standard deviations, t-tests, one-way ANOVA and so on, were used to analyze the data of 294 effective questionnaires. The main findings were as follows. 1.On acceptance, ‘class management and counseling’ got the highest scores, but ‘basic literacy of teacher profession’ got the lowest scores. 2.On ease of implementation, ‘curriculum design and instruction’ got the highest scores, but ‘research development and study’ got the lowest. 3.The preception of elementary school teachers on acceptance has significant differences on gender and school duties. 4. The preception of elementary school teachers on ease of implementation has significant differences on school duties, school scale and school location. 5. Educators in Tainan County and Tainan City elementary schools highly acceptance and ease of implementation the professional development oriented teacher evaluation. Based on the conclusions, the study provides suggestions to school administrations, elementary schools, and elementary school teachers for future reference, and for further relevant studies as well.
