If audiences are the subjectivity of interpretation, not all the problems of communication belong to the responsibility of media industry or the Government. When an audience’s power is awoken, the press would change accordingly. However, this is a question about how to empower. As mentioned above, in order to make neglected opinions respected and then change media organizations, this study considers that it could bring up different perspectives and methods of media education and media ethics through Edison Chen’s photo scandal. Meanwhile, it’s also helpful for promoting ethical consciousness or media actions to the public. To sum up, this study would discuss news stories of Apple Daily, The Liberty Times, United Daily News and China Times about the case of Edison Chen’s scandal from January 29th to February 29th in 2008. After basic analysis, I found differences of four papers. Then, I added ethical decision-making models to explore this case. Finally, some suggestions for the Government, media organizations, educators and audiences according to the results were provided. Wei-hsin Fu 傅維信 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 100 zh-TW |
