However, it also opened a new turning point for women. Lü Bi-Cheng lived across the Ching Dynasty and the Republic Era. Her life was a proof of new women conversion. Chapter 2 , this article plans to research on how a woman entered public space by participating in the newspapers industry, founding girls-only schools, and joining clubs. It was a process of developing a social network. Chapter 3, through Lü’s tour to Europe and America, and by taking different transportation to explore modern experiences, this article is going to discuss how she expressed Western countries, cultures, her self emotions and experiences by traveling to theWestern countries. Chapter 4 , apart from outer world writing, this article is intended to explore Lü’s inner world by the subject of “dream.” Chapter 5 , Lü was a productive writer, she had a great reputation in classic literature and tried to produce vernacular novel. Focusing on her writing “The diary of disease through seven days in New York”this article will discuss how her production responds to her novel and personal life. This article will look into Lu’s work on women’s involvement into public spaces, her experiences in Europe and America, her emotions shared through literature, and her production of vernacular novels; by doing so, this article seeks to find the meaning and importance of her role in contemporary literature and women’s freedom.
