Therefore a socio-demographic structure is bound to an aging trend, and the elder''s health care needs will inevitably surge. Elderly consumers will be the new important economic group in the market. The market must consider the elderly consumers’ actual needs. Thus, to meet diverse customer needs and increase market competitiveness, market share, and profit-marking ability, the enterprises must address the future needs of customer to design new products.
Thus, study focus on demand analysis of the dental X-ray machine for elder physical examination in Taipei. This study corrects the related articles and uses the questionnaire investigations and the expert interviews to complete the data and information collection. Then, the date is analyzed by SPSS. Moreover, in the preliminary study of elders needs, the study provides information of equipment usage and demands for companies and relevant enterprises for reference to improve medical devices which meeting elders’ needs, to enhance elders’ health care quality, and to promote the product development for enterprises.
